Charity outlet for the Inspire Africa Foundation Opens in Lagos

On Saturday, 5th December, 2009, Lagos will witness the ‘first of its kind’ opening of ‘‘The Designer’s Outlet 4 Charity’’, a brainchild of Mo Abudu, host and executive producer of celebrity talk show, Moments with Mo.

The outlet is another arm of the Inspire Africa Foundation, which is the human investment expression of the Inspire Africa brand. more

Donation Towards Preventing and Protecting Street Children in Lagos State

 

On the 14th of May, 2009, Inspire Africa Foundation, the brain child of Mo Abudu, role model, host, and executive producer of the talk show Moments with Mo handed over a cheque of 10.000,000 naira to UNICEF Nigeria.  
     
This donation was part of the proceeds from the extraordinary benefit concert organized by Inspire Africa Foundation with UNICEF and Lagos State Government held at the Expo Center on the 31st January, 2009 tagged “Rocking with a Conscience”. The concert was used to raise funds to help protect and prevent street children in Lagos from abuse, violence and all forms of exploitation.

    From where I am sitting, as much as some sisters may not want to hear this, Mo Abudu, has truly done what many others have not achieved in this area.  
 

Maskela, D’ Banj , Tuface and a host of others. Indeed, I gather she caught a big fish in her net when she interviewed former First Lady of the US and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton during her visit to Nigeria this week.

 

What really got me was when I saw the advert on MNet where our very own Mo was being advertised alongside Tyra and Oprah, as a Nigerian. It made me feel proud that we could develop our media and TV production to this level.
